Cheapest way of getting BTC and ETH to a UK bank account

I've learn historical recommendation which stated that you simply purchase USDC, then switch that to Kraken which I did for zero further payment.

However then I had to promote the USDC to GBP at a poor change fee on Kraken, they usually charged a £2.50 charge. So I started with £256 and obtained £250 back.

Then sent that to my checking account which incurred a ultimate £1.50 charge which is ok.

Certainly theres a greater approach of doing this?
