A Step Into Bitcoin Light(ning)

Bitcoin really is a solution for a slowly cooking financial crisis - as a form of money which cannot be manipulated, because nobody can just print more bitcoin out of thin air. And it IS already a good enough medium of exchange with 2T USD in capitalization and 17 years of history. Which nobody can scensor, which is equally available to everyone. Well, you probably alrady know this.

But something we are getting quite wrong. At least me - till not so long ago. We get obsessed with exchange rate between bitcoin and fiat money. We look at historical price chart and start craving the next rampant price surge, and get upset when it is not happening... Try to leverege credit to multiply profits... Try to benefit from a price dump trading derivatives... And it all just won't work. It will only help some fat cats to accumulate even more fiat and bitcoin through price manipulations. But no transition to a new form of money at the level of humanity happens this way.

What will work - get bitcoin really used as a medium of exchange between us - people. Between merchants and customers, each of us is both. And it is smth no one can do alone. It's a community effort at a planetary, country, city, community level. And the good news is - it should not be that hard. And even more - it can be really fun! All is needed - become an active agent of the peaceful evolution. Not an evangelist for Bitcoin, nor a preacher, nor a prophet. Just a humble fellow, and a courageous one to ask your counterparty "would you like to pay me in bitcoin?" or "can I pay you in bitcoin?". Just that. And be respectful to accept any answer, and not to push. Be ready to explain what bitcoin is, if you receive such a question. Be ready to help with installing an app. Be a witness of an authentic joy at your fellow's face, when receiving the first lightning BTC transfer from you in seconds. And acknowledge this event is an equally important tiny piece in a great transition.

And it doesn't really matter what the exchange rate btw bitcoin and manipulated fiat currency is. I can start getting used to pricing things/services in bitcoin and enjoy being part of the solution. If I spend less satoshi than I earn - the 'leftovers' can be simply kept. No need to search how to "invest" it. Just keeping surplus is enough - with time it will inevitably grow in value, as more people are getting involved in this global satoshi flow. Today only about 2% of all people are using bitcoin, so it's still something like Internet back in 1999 :)
